An early adopter of digital photography, Dr. Mascha was the founder and first Director of the University of Southern California E-lab, created in 1993. As an Assistant Professor for Visual Anthropology, he taught some of the first University-level courses ever offered on the Internet Technology and digital imaging.
Also during his tenure at USC he worked with Dr. Jane Goodall on a series of innovative interactive visual media projects. Dr. Mascha holds a PhD in Visual Anthropology and Communication Science from the University of Vienna and lives in Los Angeles and Texas.
